The Sigma III control unit is the brains of the
Sigma III System. It was developed by the Sigma
engineers to provide you with ease and efficiency of
operation. The Sigma III control unit allows you to
control the amount of copper and silver that are
added into your pool. Very "user friendly" and easy
to use, the Sigma III control unit was designed for
use by those with limited experience in pool/spa
care
The
Sigma III Flow Cell
The Sigma III Flow Cell is the backbone of the Sigma III
Pool/Spa System. The flow cell is installed in your pool
pump circulation line and recieves a low electrical current
from the Sigma III Control Unit. This causes the Flow cell
to release precisely controlled amounts of copper and silver
into your pool or spa water. After over 1000 hours of
research at the University of Arizona microbiology
laboratories, research has determined the safest ratios of
copper to silver needed to provide the best results.
The copper and silver electrodes are self sacrificing and
tend to last 2 to 3 years (depending on pool size and use)
before they need to be changed.
The
Sigma III Pool System
This is what the Sigma III System looks like installed into
a pre-existant pool pump circulation system. The Flow Cell
is inserted between the pump and the filter, and the Control
Box is mounted somewhere nearby. And being connected to the
pump's electrical timer, the Sigma turns on automatically
whenever your pump is on.
